Sept 2005--Since a friend of mine at a remarkably fun BBS board has sneakingly taken a peek at my site. He informed me that the news section has been ignored entirely too long. Thank you Mr. Uh Huh. I suppose I should begin the mutation process long over due at this site. I will store classic Adventure Hobby for all my old buddies who are probably gonna be all out of puberty by now and too busy trying to score with girls than play games or build models.

January 2004 -- Well friends it's been a long time since I've written here and I thought I would let you know what is happening. The store is closed in Circleville, but we are still going to offer quality merchandise here online until we can get back into a brick and mortar store. You can support that effort by using the gateways to the fine associates I have allied with to bring everyone great deals and deliver them directly to your homes.

March 3, 2003-- Pardon our dust, for the next several weeks we will be revamping Adventure Hobby Online. Cooler and more useful.

August 29, 2002 We are moving to 163 West Main Street. Our new location is next to Weavers Furniture and the Market on Main & Deli. We start the moving process from Sept 1st thru the 15th. We will be open on and off until most of the new store is inventoried and set up.

August 17, 2002 Well it's happened. Final notice on our lease. The landlord has decided that twice as much rent is better than half as much rent. So I have been given my notice to leave. It is our intention and goal to relocate. The City of Circleville has few and scarce affordable commercial properties most of which cater to corporate and service industries and will most likely force us to move on to a more progressive community and one which supports mom and pop retail shops. However, we will try to keep the kids happy and will work very hard to find another location.

May 18, 2002 We would like to thank everyone who made it to Brent's birthday LAN party. It was a lot of fun. So many frags too little time. If we can we will try to get at least 2 networked gaming machines for rent in the gaming room. The base price for gaming is usually $5.00 an hour, and I think that will help cover maintenance on those machines. We are accepting donations of keyboards,mice,atx cases, joysticks, hard drives, 10/100 net cards etc.

April 20, 2002 For those who didn't know, the store cats are gone. To comply with the landlords wishes we had to relocate our furry friends to another location. We will miss them dearly, but don't worry, they are fine and living in the country with lots of lovely mice to catch.

April 15, 2002 Thanks to everyone for showing up on board game day. We will endeavor to keep games going on in the gaming room for everyone. Zombies was fun for all the moans and groans everyone made.

April 6, 2002 The game room will be reopening on April 13th. We are having a boardgame day all day Saturday from 1:00pm to 7:00pm.

November 8, 2001 The new game Zombies just arrived. Grrrr right after Halloween though. D&D Oriental Adventures is an excellent new book by WOTC. The quality is consistent with the Forgotten Realms Campaign Sourcebook. The Lord of the Rings Miniatures game is here. There are lots of new anime dvds out to. November 4, 2001 Well the new webpage is taking its time, but we're are really working on some pretty cool stuff. The latest news since Pumpkin show, is that Evil gamer R.Good was handed his filthcovered Demogonis butt by Josh the Arch Primate of the Shining Brotherhood. However, while Evil-Good is licking his seeping wounds we know that he is plotting an even greater assault on the forces of Light and Fluffy goodness. The Pumpkin Show was a little smaller than last year, but for the most part people gave the bird to Osama and his terrorist buddies and showed up to consume mass quantities of Fair food and buy lots of fun stuff. Our most requested product this year was Stink Bombs and Fart Spray. The photos from the show will be posted soon. Please don't give up. I think you will be pleased.

October 8, 2001 Evil gamer Richard Good stopped in today to impress us with some more of his long hair ideas. D&D Chainmail Miniatures game is looking good. We should have it in on next Monday. WOTC is sold out of starter boxes. Shame on them, but we are getting what product we can next week.

September 9, 2001 The Alliance Trade Summit featured plenty of new and interesting things coming soon. Games Workshop's Lord of the Rings Miniatures game is sure to be a hit, the minis are excellent. The d20 system has new items coming out weekly and the Ravenloft d20 conversion by Whitewolf will be out soon. Wizkids LLC has plenty of cool stuff on the way too. Gary Gygax's Legendary Adventures demo was fun too. Ask me for more details about this RPG System.
